Present it: PowerPoint download, PDF and web slides

You have a presentation from the chat. Now you need to show it. WordGPT keeps one presentation and gives you two ways to edit it.

Two ways to edit

  • Edit as slides is the PowerPoint-style editor. Slides with text boxes, shapes and pictures that you place yourself.
  • Edit as web page is a modern, full-screen web version. It is made from your slides the first time you press it, and that is free.

Each editor shows a small badge such as Linked to Web page or Linked to Slides, so you can tell that the other version exists. You can move between them with the same button.

If you change one version, the other does not change by itself. Decide which one is your main copy before you do a lot of editing.

Present on screen

In the slide editor, press Present to run the deck full screen from your browser. Use the arrow keys to move through the slides.

Download

In both editors, use the Download menu.

  • PowerPoint (.pptx) opens in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, so you can keep working there.
  • PDF (.pdf) is the safest to send: it looks the same everywhere.
  • HTML (.html) is the web version as one file. If there is no web version, you get a copy of the slides instead.

The chat card also has a PowerPoint button for a quick download without opening the editor.

Open the web version and use Share. It gives you a public, view-only link, with a switch to turn it off again and a choice about whether search engines may list it. Anyone with the link can view it, so don't share a deck with private numbers.

Which one should I use?

  • Meeting room with a projector and PowerPoint: download the .pptx and test it on that computer.
  • Email or print: the PDF.
  • Remote talk or a deck people open on their phone: the web link.
